My journey as an artist began when I was young in Michigan, took a detour while raising my family, and has returned with enthusiasm!!
In high school and college I worked as a graphic artist. I became a physical therapist and enjoyed my career until a knee injury sidelined me in 2019. I started drawing dogs for friends just before the pandemic, and drew for free while our country was in lockdown. My waiting list hasn't gone away since then, and I have finally inactivated my PT license to work on art full time. I love it!
I live with my husband, two rescue dogs, Sadie and Frankie, and a long-suffering cat named Trixie just outside of Orlando, Florida USA. Sadie is our veteran, teaching newly adopted Frankie the rules of the house. :)
